I have very little care to be productive in the eyes of capitalists, but ever since I became an adult, everyone else in the world has expected me to be productive, and even now as I am physically disabled, it still hasn't let up completely, and I know it never will.

-to live by all of these rules, a world that immediately places high expectations on you the moment you're born, expectations I know I can never reach.

-felt like an animal, a housecat made for being loved, taken care of, no responsibilities, just...enjoying life and not having a care in the world. It actually makes me want to rip my skin off knowing I'll never get to live that way, because I was born human, the only species in the world that has-

I was a little bit on the therian side before I even knew that was a thing, which I guess is a bit of a step up from being a furry. I think a big part of that was growing up autistic and not feeling quite human. I guess some autistic people feel morem...alien, I guess? But I never felt that way, I-

I was thinking SugarRush or something along those lines.

Which in itself, is a fault.

I think this belief of good vs evil is something that both sides need to abandon. It simply does not exist, and human beings are so much more complicated than black or white. We are all shades of grey, and if someone truly believes that they are pure and good, they're probably blind to their faults.

To them, WE'RE the Nazis, and it just becomes a big echo chamber when all they are around are other like minded antis that feed into each other's problematic beliefs. It is predatory, with how many minors enter fandom spaces and are quickly indoctrinated by people who aren't much older than them.

Antis genuinely believe that we're bad people, and when people believe that someone is bad to the point of being irredeemable, they believe that the world would be a better place without them. The issue is that they're aiming their anger at the wrong people. That's what they don't understand.

Didn't TW this because I didn't specify drawing her at her canon age (which has never really been consistent) or aged up like in the drawings that caused this uproar in the first place. I would eat it up either way. 🀷

Yessss! I've thought about this before! It would be so perfect.

I was referring more to the never before seen spicy images that Disney artists draw on their own time, often of underage princesses. But yeah, those too.

Of course! You're touching someone who used to be a minor AND committing the ultimate sin of self pleasure! The degeneracy!

Let's also not bring up the legend of the "Disney Vault(TM)"

But don't you know? Drawing a fictional character in a bathing suit makes you a predator. //j

In the process, we just end up creating walls, hurting each other as the space between us all continues to grow. Fandom was meant to bring like-minded people together, but now... those days are all over.

-vs evil, that we forget that the word is not like old Disney movies. Evil does not exist in this world, not really. People are so much more complicated than that, and the way we oversimplify everything... I think it's just a feeble attempt to make it easier for us to distance ourselves.

Artists don't make art to cater to you and complaining when they draw something you don't like is entitled and parasocial. They do not care if some fuckass stranger on the internet is "disappointed" in them for not being as puritanical and terminally online about cartoons as you are.

It's just about weighing my options. While Bluesky is a lot more chill, it's still pretty small in comparison, and Tumblr and Insta have SO much more content. At the same time, both Insta and Tumblr are full of antis and minors, which tend to go hand in hand.

Them: "I can excuse murder and cannibalism, but I draw the line at taboo relationships." Me: "You can excuse murder and cannibalism??"
