NEW: Pregnancy became far more dangerous in Texas after the state banned abortion, according to ProPublica’s first-of-its-kind analysis, which found the sepsis rate for women hospitalized as they miscarried in the 2nd trimester shot up by more than 50%. https://propub.li/43487Tj

“the United States is not a startup. The federal government exists to do all of the things that are definitionally not profitable, that serve the public good rather than protect investor profits. (The vast majority of startups also fail, something the United States cannot afford to do.)”

So if you criticize Elon Musk, Trump’s DOJ will send you this letter. Members of Congress must have the right to forcefully oppose the Trump Administration. I will not be silenced.

I appreciate everyone’s messages of support, I’m trying to get through all my mentions but as you can imagine, it’s been a bit of a busy day :) Remember - peaceful civil disobedience, and no kings, no tyrants. Not ever.

New: DOGE's spending has been secret. No longer. My colleagues have uncovered it. www.propublica.org/article/doge...

AOC should challenge Hakeem Jeffries for Minority Leader because he’s the wrong leader for this constitutional crisis. Jeffries is a Dem machine made man who thinks institutions will save him in time to become Speaker. Despite Pelosi’s antipathy, AOC’s got the cojones to lead the next generation.

This is another monstrous power grab, ripping at the seams of the republic. It goes against two hundred years of precedent, and the basic concept of checks and balances, in the most blatant matter yet.

We have been careful to avoid using the word coup, but it’s time to call it what it is—this is a coup. Trump signed an executive order granting only the attorney general or the president the authority to interpret laws executed by the executive branch.

This is why Trump & Elon wanted to control the US Treasury payment system first thing. They can turn payments on and off like a faucet. Why isn’t that blackmail? AG tells attorney to freeze their enemy’s funds and he resigned.

I remember when perjuring yourself to the US Congress used to have consequences but checking executive power would require 60 US Senators to grow spines

Protest in North Hollywood, CA “No Kings Day”

The Intercept identified Elon Musk’s kryptonite. They’ve shown a method for Democrats to cripple Musk’s companies despite being in the minority. All that is needed is for 41 Dem Senators to have the courage to filibuster Elon’s government contracts every time they come up for a vote.

I keep seeing this. Guys, their literal job is to figure out what to do. They are not helpless even if they are not the majority. I really hope we can stop treating some of the most powerful people in the world as helpless and without sentience.

HEJ. IT'S BEEN ALMOST 11 MONTHS. WE'RE NOT GONNA DO THAT LONG OF A WAIT AGAIN BUT. HUNTER THE PARENTING: CHAPTER 5 IS GOING LIVE IN 3 HOURS. BEHOLD: www.youtube.com/watch?v=szUm...

The Economist reports that, despite the mass firings and infliction of mass suffering, the cyber emperor’s numbers aren’t adding up 👇🏾

So the US is now kidnapping whole families and trafficking them to random countries that the US has coerced into imprisoning them for some unspecified period of time

No they're not. They know exactly what they're voting for: The continued dismantling of our public health system. That's what they want. You know this. Why do we have to do this playacting goldfish brain shit every time.

In less than one month the regime is disappearing people in the GITMO gulag 👇🏾

Here’s the order. It’s that bad. www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...
