Media check-in Recently reread A Memory Called Empire (Arkady Martine). Mystery, romance, the confusion & self-loathing of the outsider, reflections on the nature of self, the blunt horror of a system at war with itself. One of my favourite novels, highly recommend.

Google HQ required an EPA waiver and a special HVAC system because so many toxic fumes come up from the soil otherwise it could cause reproductive damage And oops some engineer shut it off because the vent made his desk cold and the EPA fined them but employees were exposed to toxins for months.
