Terrifying prospect. Did you see the clip of that revolting Bannon giving a Nazi salute?

Ditto. Waste of money. Could have spent it on better filtration.
comment in response to post
Quite. It would be UCLH, too.

And with a man like Kennedy at the helm and the cancellation of other mass vaccination programmes in some states it seems entirely possible. What have the Americans done to themselves!

I think they are more afraid of the MAGA louts.

I agree they were fully aware that Covid was airborne from the start, and woefully underprepared, plus in hock to the 'Great Barrington Declaration' numpties - I still can't understand what was 'Great' about it!

Partly that though do you recall the big protest marches against wearing masks when they were mandatory? Right- wing libertarians are anti anything that 'restricts' their personal freedom and unfortunately Labour just roll over and give in to them - in spite of having a huge majority.

Agree, I'm trying to find reasons for Labour's to me inexplicable behaviour . They called vociferously for mitigations (ventilation etc) when in opposition. Now they're in power - and with a huge majority - they do nothing.

So sad what's happening in the once great US, and very worrying for all of us.

Yup, it's how dictators justify their actions.

Labour don't see Covid mitigations as a vote winner and the numbers here sadly suggest that they are right.

Parasites? What a terrible thing to say. And totally untrue.

It's tragic. Can't they see how wrong this is and the harm it will do to so many, especially children as you say. The US is going into a very dark time and it's heartbreaking to witness it.

Yikes!

Not just that, but a lot of diseases that have been pretty well wiped out will return.
comment in response to post
That's very worrying.

Absolutely. And I doubt Putin will stop there.

Playing to Reform as usual.

The poor birds.

Musk thinks it's rich countries giving money to the rich in poor countries - shows how much he's bothered to look into where the money goes or the harm removing it does.

So how did this end? Did they let you in, did you have to force your way in?Please don't say you just quietly left.

I'd rather be saved from extinction by being allowed to enjoy our beautiful planet that he and his far right mates seem to value so little.

The whole idea is bonkers!

Terrifying.

I think they are - but I think the media isn't showing it. I've seen one video that managed to slip through on to twitter recently.

She's a disaster. She's got to go.

It's so sad - and frightening.

Thank you, Alan. It's a lovely video. Your birds are very well catered for. 😀

It's so sad. I suppose birds don't count as growth!

You should have see the two starlings on the wetlands feeder yesterday - tits and house sparrows beware! Not a lot of sharing going on there. ..

One reason why I agree Starmer may be the most dangerous man in Europe is, within the UK, he could *stop* the march of the right but he won't. By taking a different leadership role better strategies weakens the far right and galvanises others at home and abroad. Starmer has to go, and soon.

Sounds a lovely day. x

Hello Totoro! Do you remember me? I hope you and Alan are surviving the awful storms. It's not been great in London either but nothing like as bad as it was in the southwest.😀

How lovely of her. I remember when we found bats in our attic (when I was a child). Very engaging little creatures.

The way things are going I'll be glad to see the back of the Labr party, but I really really mind the former. I wish someone would challenge Starmer.

Exactly. She hasn't a clue.
