Other presidents and their employees have managed without causing such chaos. Trump and Musk are two of THE most self-absorbed beings on the planet. It is inconceivable that they could work together, unless both are benefiting at a huge cost to others. Elon benefited less than he had planned.

These raids were orchestrated against Blue state governors, mayors, etc who have somehow offended Trump or his administration. This is the living, breathing definition of “weaponization”.

You are not being dramatic. Many children rely on that school meal each day and the packages of food schools provide to kids during the vacations, summers and weekends. Meals on Wheels is essential nutrition and human contact for so many in rural areas. We will see illness and starvation deaths.

I was just trying to clarify that for the average working person, to receive the premium subsidies that make the Silver Plan more affordable, you must meet certain income and eligibility requirements. I also was a union teacher for years. Years ago, we had VERY good health insurance benefits.

Agreed, not servants. I believe they are entitled to pay for their own health insurance through the ACA. The 72% subsidy for insurance is a considerable benefit. This is not a plan “we can all get”. Employer health plan coverage varies widely; often at considerable expense to employees.

A 72% subsidized health plan is still a pretty good deal in the current health insurance market.

Remember when taxes paid for schools, roads, social programs, a military that protected all in this country while being guardians around the world. Now we pay for POTUS golf, test rockets to blow up, tax cuts for billionaires, kidnapping of US residents, pardoning tax fraud by millionaires. Sad

If I understand it correctly, it is also unconstitutional for Congress to pass that responsibility over to the WH. In other words, Congress can’t constitutionally transfer or abdicate their responsibility for tariffs over to Trump. Justice is served once again.

Doesn’t it just figure that Tate and his brother are the role models that Trump chooses to allow into our country. Trump doesn’t want law-abiding people and deports or denies them entry.

What god would that be?

This guy is so aware of the geopolitical landscape and the impact it has on all humans. I’m not Catholic, not even particularly devout. I do, however, fully endorse Pope Leo’s use of his position to set positive examples of leadership.

Thank you, Amy McGrath for the clarification. I’m tired of the wrecking ball attitude of of the Trump admin, but they swoop in to take credit for the work of others when they know it will poll positively. It reminds me of animals that steal food from other animals, after the work is done.
