Would yall be surprised if he betrayed her trust? TWICE?!
A lot of stuff happened, and she ultimately forgave him, helped him with his goal (the not-evil way), and is now traveling with him in a "who am I (now that I'm no longer evil) journey!

She ended up bothering him enough- and gave lots of presents :D - to where she thought they were making progress!
Her plan was to try and get him to be less evil (?) so she could free him with no guilt of potentially releasing evil onto the world!

He was originally adventuring partners/childhood friends with another party member (Tenebrius), but betrayed them! We didn't want Vorno to recognize Ten, so Penna would visit him every long rest to get plot help... also to try and befriend him heh

OK TIME TO YAP:
Penna nabbed a star cloak that would teleport her to a prison that was on a different plane of existence. This is where Vorno was being held- MAGIC JAIL BABEY!
First meeting him, he was a 7ft tall purple tiefling that was in jail for trying to blow up the moon/kill the God of Magic

Penna the aarakocra ranger, my first dnd character! She befriends the BBEG, Vorno (a tiefling for plot reasons, but originally a drow). Literally took me 2 years to actually get him to care and be her friend!

They ended up becoming a recurring npc that sneaks their way into all of our campaigns. It doesn't matter who's DM-ing, Ziffri will BE THERE!
