It's smooth-er, but I'd have to buff it out as well. But it hold the shape better and be easier to smooth out.

Debating using either sprue goo or just cake on some brush on primer to smooth even more. I have gesso, army painter brush on primer, or filling/sandable primer to choose from.

Yeah, these guys are going to be Inner Circle knights so can't have any chaos imagery if I can help it. The symbol I covered is the wheel of chaos but like death metal, so it's gotta go.

This is a great color scheme

The knights shield was the biggest part to take care of, it has the multi spoke symbol of chaos on like everyone. I cut the reins and horse head from it and cut the forearm from the empire knight shield arm. Lotta sprue glue later, added a shield from the empire knight kit.

No problem! I'll try to post more details on the symbol work. There's these mega purity seals from the steam tank set I might use to cover larger symbols I don't want to deal with.

In some parts yeah, I'm filling with green stuff and filing down raised symbols. May just obfuscate some when I paint them. Add purity seals and symbols of sigmar/the empire where possible.

RRR on Chapter Master, intend for him to ride with Inner Circle. Wizard has lore familiar battle magic, double headed grif. All knights have shield/lance.

Nah I'm planning on covering or filing any I can off. I wanted a death knight look, think the chaos knights give that vibe.

My brother's in the same boat. He picked up like 120 orcs and has been paralyzed ever since.

No! Not any more! Everything can be measured at any time. And thank GW for that cause I'd fail every charge 😆

Not sure, haven't played 40k. It's not as balanced as 40k right now. Game is rank and flank so a lot more maneuvering I think.

Yeah it's probably just resin. I think my brother called it that and it got in my head for some reason.
