I live in WNC and was here during Helene. It’s accurate. It was real people - helping each other. It wasn’t about politics. MAGA supporters were helping liberals and liberals were helping MAGA supporters. We have allowed our government to become a circus 🤡 🎪.

Hmm what’s up … Clearly Trump and his flock have put more of a tariff on Canadian goods than what he said. Normally, this brand costs $5.49 at our local Coop here in WNC. Hmm Trump thank you for pointing out a Canadian product. I will gladly pay $4-5 extra to support #Canada.

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies. Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE. Funny how that works, huh?

If we are smart with WHERE we spend our money instead of helping our economy crash faster by doing an abrupt halt and spending nothing - we need to steer our spending towards local businesses and try our hardest to not spend on huge scale corporations UNLESS it’s a corporation that truly cares.

In my opinion …. Trump has no concept on building an economy - he’s destroying it. The cost of eggs skyrocketed multiple times on his watch. COVID and now. Unemployment during COVID was under his term and now he is causing unemployment to skyrocket with all the unjust firing of federal employees.

I migrated to North Carolina where Cliff Cash is from. He is spot on with making the sad truth hilarious. I moved down because of the beautiful mountains and my only daughter moved here. I am reading “No Mud, No Lotus,” by Thich Nhat Hahn. It is making me think deeply about the current narrative created by that orange man, playing president in that White House. He’s the mud. His followers are the mud. We need to plant seeds of compassion, love, and peace within that mud.
