I believe we were not going to win, either way. They would have pushed a shut down long enough that we would lose government employees faster than we do now.

This hasn't happened before because it should never happen, ever. Trump set this whole thing up. The press was the biggest part of this show. He truly believes he was acting like a strong man. When in fact, he proved what a small child he really is!
