When I lived alone, the economics of cooking didn't make sense for me. When I started cooking for more than one person, cooking made a lot more sense and I started benefiting from economies of scale without having to eat the same burritos four days in a row.

Heater in my bedroom is busted. Usually that's fine because I like it chilly, but it's downright *cold* rn. Gonna have to heat my room the old fashioned way: by playing PC games until it's too hot for pants.

Looking at recipes for chocolate Guinness cake, one of which warned not to serve it to kids due to the alcohol. While it's true that not all alcohol boils out of baked goods, the amounts bakers deal with are small to begin with, and reduced further by baking. I decided to run the numbers. (1/6)
