I love me some good sci-fi shenanigans. I also love me some good choice based story telling! I also love me some competent base building!! This game has everything! Some incredible performances (well performance I guess) I was blown away by so many moments in this game. I guess today we are all Jan.

Also very funny to play this and Clair Obscur right next to each other as you can so easily see the inspiration taken from IX. Both enhanced the other which I was happy about. For those who come after!

This whole cast has my heart. This is the first FF I've ever beaten and I can tell it was made with a lot of love. Vivi and Steiner are highlights but everyone is amazing. I have so many thoughts, but I just want everyone to know I was moved and I'll be thinking of these characters for a long time.

For those who come after. I could write a whole thesis about this games relationship with grief and what we can learn from that (who knows maybe I will maybe I won't). This game was wicked fun, often esoteric, and incredible. Wheeeeee for sure 🪨.

I started playing this right before Blue Prince, which is a shame, because this game deserved more of my time. I also rolled credits on it and found myself wanting to return to the school over and over to find the truest ending and figure out exactly what happened that fateful day. Wonderful game.

I rolled credits on this forever ago, but I didn't feel like I'd really beaten the game. Now that Ibe sunk 45 more hours into the game I feel even further from the true ending which might not even exist. I think I looked up and found I had a new favorite color. The color blue 💙
