Would October 2026 be a stupid time to do an academic conference on Tyndale? It would, wouldn't it.

The thing I find genuinely confusing about the Great Exhibition is that people genuinely seem to have had an absolute whale of a time looking at things like lock patents.

Told someone I couldn't photograph something because it's still in copyright and they have emailed back with the conciliatory suggestion that they will be quite happy with a scan and a PDF. I'd forgotten that helpful line of argument, once so common 16-18 years ago. Came over quite nostalgic.
