The extraordinary irony that the people who use the word “woke” as a slur suffer from a deplorable lack of self-awareness.

Carter was the last President my dad helped elect before he died, aged 38.
And the first President I had the privilege of voting for in 1980.
(I actually had an acquaintance who volunteered for both Carter campaigns, but went on to vote Trump. 3x. Xtian, natch.)
I’ll never understand people.

President can’t pardon state crimes.
And Minnesota is run by a democracy-forward Gov; this is one scenario we do not need to fret over.

I was on the other side of the highway having a blast; lots of folks in the median.
Frankly, I thought it was an excellent turnout, considering there were several No Kings events in the Triangle, with overlapping times.
This was the first of two rallies in Raleigh; the other was later, downtown.

My hubs and I were there following the Wake Forest rally; extraordinary show of unity.
To say people are PISSED is an understatement, yet the joy and hope was infectious.

My husband and I attended two rallies today, and are now
basking in the afterglow of having been surrounded by, and protesting shoulder-to-shoulder with thousands of extraordinary humans, striving to save this democratic republic.
Feeling hopeful.

Write “SECURITY” on his belly and let him keep sentry on your domicile.

I’m hoping this poop throwing concept is actually just gallows humor; I know I could use some right now.
