That poor officer, who will likely replay that in his mind for the rest of his life. Kicking himself over and over that he could have prevented two murders.

A gigantic Hegseth fail. One would think they could entrust the party animal to throw a great event?

Whoever selected the music was either really really under educated, or making their own protest statement. Even the TV announcer was shocked at the song choices in the clip I heard.

I recall reading about Singapore in the 1980's sending all young men on a course on 'how to date smart women'.

Can you explain how those with court dates, are also being called un-documented. Doesn't that fact that they have a court date mean they are documented?

I wonder if surveyed, if they would even know what today's tariff rates are for each country. Presently 50% on Steel and Aluminum from Canada.

Did he even ask one question? Or did he just state he had a question.

Forget what Russia did agreeing with Germany to slaughter and seize half of Poland, Romania, Finland etc. Forget Russia only reacted when Germany turned on them too - just to defend themselves against Germany. Let's rewrite history, LOL.

Thanks, Dennis Forbes -I was about to type something similar.

How could the USA host the World Cup, the summer olympics or any other world event?

When the USA was attacked on 911 and invoked NATO article 5 - many countries answered the call. For the sacrifices and ultimate sacrifices made by coalition forces to be negated by this administration is beyond egregious. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaliti....

Wasn’t it American taxpayer’s money that was paid to the Babbitt family. Not trumps money. Can anyone clarify?

Watching this - I've been wondering about the World Soccer Events & the 2028 Olympics. Both events would bring multiple flags, religions & ethnicities that seem to be targets of hate & discrimination.

I assumed there WAS diversity of thought on Bluesky. I just figured my feed was positive because I was successful in blocking people who posted mean spirited, conspiracies and inaccurate opinions.

Joyce White Vance posted: "When President Johnson activated the Nat'l Guard in Alabama in 1965 over Gov. Wallace's objection he did it to protect protesters advocating for voting rights for Black people who had previously met violence at the hands of state troopers. Very different situation."

Not sure credit goes to "fun with flags" by Sheldon Cooper on Big Bang Theory, or if it was from a basic boating class I took, but I believe the protocol is to have a USA flag, FIRST & ON TOP and then a secondary flag becomes totally acceptable to waive/display.

BonFire, they also fail to mention the several decades the US Steel companies FAILED to invest in process improvement. The US could fix that gap in a decade or two. Yet tariffs do not change the requirement for quality supply of US manufacturers - today.

All ALLOY is NOT the same quality nor interchangeable. Impossible to make surgical tools & airplane fuselage from steel suitable for road rebar. Perhaps in a dozen years of investment in processes the US steel industry could produce quality & quantity required. Quoting Game of Thrones "Not today".

All alloy is NOT the same & tariffs will not change the spec. quality requirements for US manufacturers. It will take more than a decade to get processes upgraded at US foundries. A 25% tariff on the UK's & a 50% tariff on the Canadian alloys only harms US manufacturers.

Less warning time for evacuations & reduced FEMA budgets and staff for post storm support. Plus alienation of those lovely Canadians that drive convoys of Hydro trucks to restore power. Seems like a perfect storm is brewing.
