Okay, Graham, so are you saying actually we SHOULDN'T listen to women???

THE BIGGEST NEWS! Rob and I are offering up a hand-signed hardback, first edition/first printing copy of Monstrous Regiment straight from the Pratchett archives. Those who know the story will know why it’s a pertinent one for this cause. (More pics to come.) www.32auctions.com/organization...

I dunno, man, the "you guys are being too mean to the plagiarism machines that stole all your work and were created to try to replace you so rich people don't pay you a tiny fraction of their wealth for it" posters popping up are pretty funny

Researchers have been pointing out that these systems are probably “bags of heuristics” from the very beginning but pointing it out early literally cost some of them their jobs.

"Movie you've watched more than six times using gifs. ("Hard mode" no Star Wars, Star Trek, or LoTR) Hard mode please. Try insane mode. None of the above, no kids films and no Christmas ones..." I REGRET NOTHING

good news everyone

i think everyone needs this

trying to switch off the AI bloatware that has been pinned to the top of every single menu in every single app

OR JUST NOT FUCKING USE IT EVER

Tired: Banning Trans & NB people from public life Inspired: Banning the 2-3% of the population who think swearing at shop staff is acceptable from public life

If you're having a difficult day, have a read through of this article on the urgent question of whether the Bayeux Tapestry has 93 or 94 penises. And people say history is boring. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/a...

One of the wilder political things in recent history is that Project 2025 publicly released a 900 page document laying out their plans to roll back 100 years of human progress and then during the campaign Republicans just said "no we're not :)" and then they won and now they're doing it all.

Happy Saint George day indeed.

It’s not often that new biographical details for Shakespeare are discovered. The fragmentary remains of a letter puts him living with Anne Hathaway at a previously unknown address in London. www.theguardian.com/culture/2025...

In 2000, John Waters donated 372 pieces of his art collection to the Baltimore Museum of Art. They named a rotunda after him in their gallery. He requested an all-gender restroom be named for him instead. #BOTD

I feel like Johnny Depp set a trend here and I’m never forgiving the people who cheered him on and smeared Amber Heard just because they really like Jack Sparrow.

Well I for one see no issues at all with relaxing financial regulations. Growth! Growth for all! Bin the red tape! Next step - abolish cash ISAs and instead encourage investment in risky start ups. It's a win-win!

Fumus mihi kipper, redibo ad ientaculum. Amen.

SING FOR ME, CHRISTINE

OH WHAT'S THIS, AN EXCUSE TO POST SOME TOM LEHRER? I would NEVER youtu.be/pvhYqeGp_Do?...

It isn't trans and non-binary individuals who are a threat, it is men like Tate leading a rise in misogyny. It takes unity to combat that toxicity. Discrimination against trans and non-binary individuals feeds the division they need to twist young people's minds. 1/ www.bbc.com/news/article...

It is that time of year when people start posting #BadAncient memes about Easter. So, to recap like we do each year - Easter has nothing to do with the the goddess Ishtar. www.badancient.com/claims/easte...

I'm a cis woman, but this is a trigger for me anyway, as when I was TWELVE, I used to be regularly bullied walking home from school by a boy repeatedly insist I prove to him I'm a girl. A bully then, and it's bullies now. Fuckers.

if you change the name on a CV from a man to a woman's name, recruiters immediately rate it as 18% less competent. they don't stop to check gametes/wombs. pretending all sexism is rooted in a particular biology leaves us with no way to talk about systemic bias against female intellect & ambition.

To get one thing straight, as I think will be coming clear to people in the UK this morning, that Supreme court decision doesn't just disadvantage women who are trans, it also disadvantages *all* women. We can now be questioned as to our gender, wherever, by whoever. Probably in whatever way.

I’m absolutely serious about this. Today I have registered the domain name womenforhumanrights.co.uk Maybe this won’t be what sticks, but it’s a start. Explainer about how I got to this choice in various conversations in the original 🧵 All humans welcome.

Lady Whistledown is a Queen www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/article/nico...

Every time I’ve been forced against my will to see that stupid fucking photo of JKR & her cigar I’ve said “she looks like a cartoon villain” & I finally figured out which one

Planned action! Protest planned at parliament square on Saturday at 1pm to protest supreme court ruling.

People have interpreted this as a call for a boycott, when I actually want a wealth tax so aggressive it'd make Lenin say, "steady on, lad" if Lenin talked like Wallace from Wallace and Gromit.

You all need to treat Harry Potter IP like we’re treating the Tesla brand.

This new Supreme Court ruling does not protect women. It protects a 'barbie doll' image of what women should be. Let me explain: I was born female. I have female genitals. It says female on my Birth Certificate. I am one of the 'women' this ruling is meant to protect. 🧵

lovely juxtaposition of gender critical people publicly going "ah, finally a victory for common sense :)" and trans friends wondering privately if they need to seriously consider emigrating as Britain just doesn't feel safe for them

Fuck all the way off you pathetic, hateful cunts.
