I'm only going to post positive things today ... Cleveland is doing so much better now that the city owns its own sports teams. No more need to build a new multi-billion dollar stadium to support some billionaire's wealth project. I said "positive", not true.

For anyone paying attention to the sports debacle which is the Cleveland Browns .... I am done with them if (when) they move the new stadium to Brook Park (out of downtown) and give the Haslams everything they want for Xmas. I want billionaires out of sports. Let cities buy their own teams!!!

Saudi Arabia confirmed as 2034 World Cup host We just got over the debacle which was the world cup in Qatar with all their human rights violations and deaths during construction of single-use sports stadiums. You's have thought FIFA would have learned their lesson. No. Curruption reigns @ FIFA.

Watching football tonight, I saw one of those "Jesus gets us" commercials. It makes me angry. Highlighting the fact that their founder was a great guy with all that tolerance, compassion and forgiveness - just makes more stark the contrast with their own hatred, intolerance, bigotry and hypocrisy.

I am so sick and tired of billionaires owning sports teams and holding cities hostage to use public funds to build them a new stadium. Teams are shared cultural assets. We need a new law to allow cities to buy their own teams.
