i guess i can make a thread for art of my fursona i commissioned. these two were done by maru557 on tumblr. i gave her a vague directions for an edgy skunk lad i wanted and she designed the first picture. second one for some reason i wanted him to go fishing and we went for a storybook vibe.

remember when twitter allowed you to crop videos in-browser? they got rid of that long before the elon takeover and this still frustrates me, it was so much quicker than doing it yourself. perhaps if they havent done so, maybe bsky wouldve taken that feature too...

one thing i envy about US that we dont really have where i live are goodwills / thrift shops. here its overwhelmingly used clothing stores if anything but i wish i could just walk into a place and see all sorts of bizarre trinkets.

highlight of this year so far was a con i went to with my irl friends where we made the shoddiest bare bones miku cosplay (i think they just wanted to do make up on me) and there was a person going around the con giving every miku cosplay stickers so i got one and its on my headphones now.

i used to only listen to video game music but after discovering oneothrix point never and aphex twin i learnt that i simply like electronic music and it opened me up to new sounds. i wonder if any other people were "converted" through R plus Seven and Richard D James Album or was that just my case.

scooby doo started during the nixon administration so theres a non zero chance theres a tape where nixon talks about scooby doo. i like to imagine he would get really mad at the dog for having no discipline and dismiss the mystery inc as a bunch of hippies.
