Just cuz YOU will never fit the profile doesn't mean I can't or haven't. How many stories of this experience does it take to get that? And why anger at ME? For what? Saying my feelings built on real experiences?

the way off. My bet is that it will be 4 years from now where this narcissist piece of shit tries again. Then next time 5. Then 6. Basically, maybe I'll reach a full decade w/o hearing from him when I hit 92. Ffs

Stop it. But wait, what if you did it anyway again, and they tell you AGAIN not to contact them. Is it ok to do it again 2 years later? Still no. What are you even doing? BUT, what if you did it anyway AGAIN, and now 3 years have passed. Surely that's ok. My brother in Christ, you need to fuck all

more upsetting than the initial thing that triggered the initial anger tbh.

The portrayal of love bombing is so so good. And the good ol, "You're to blame for me hurting you," mantra. Anyway, yeah, I'm glad the show is over. The amount of women that genuinely saw this as a romance is sickening.

normal, but exceedingly beyond reproach. Yes, there are openly violent men. But let me tell you, the far more dangerous one is the one who knows the right talking points, cares about image just a little TOO much, and has a history of "psychotic" exes. The mask comes off behind closed doors, though.

no one is immune from being gaslit, abused, and/or murdered. There is no "broken" archetype of women who are chosen to do this to. In fact, part of the game is to change them. Also, on a more personal level, this character reminds me of my ex. What makes them so dangerous is they appear, not just

it would just be certain death and destruction faster. I dunno, I feel like you don't really get the intended vapidity, unrelenting uselessness of such impulsivity, and necessary lack of charm unless your finger is itching to hit fast forward. Think of that remote button as a

take something important away. By good, I mean entertaining. Kinda like Don't Look Up. It required a monotony that made me push fast forward a bunch of times. And that's exactly what it feels like irl when I am stuck listening to dumb shit. Except in irl I can't fast forward. And even if I could,

See I love that! At some point your relationship has to move beyond what it was in their youth. And part of that is getting to know the person they are as adults. My kids are hilarious. I'm forever laughing at their antics and jokes. Plus I like being involved in their hobbies and stuff. Cool people

isn't the mic drop it's intended to be. It's also kinda pathetic, truth be told.

Run the Gauntlet. Cuz what Gen Z was exposed to may be different than other generations, but it was no less traumatizing. And, more importantly, a few vague threats, from an over the hill group claiming to be vicious psychos, who also failed to protect their kids from being exposed to actual psychos

"I'm gonna crush this up and try to give it to you too." I feel like there's a chance this may be a case of miscommunication. Hear me out, ok. Maybe they're colorblind.

You should join us! I have a google doc going so we can interact on our own schedules. We'll still try to set days where we come together too, but we figured this would make it easier since we aren't exactly geographically close to each other. I'd just need an email to send you the link. DM me

We're doing House of Mirth. Popular with readers of that time and not so much critics. I wanna find out the why of that.

And for the record, that's abuse 101. Deny the reality. Paint yourself the victim. Attack. I think culturally, we have a major problem with abuse. But that's a post for another day maybe.
