I think your system is genius, a great space-saver! (And the socks are pretty awesome too)

Wow, it looks like a super fun knit!

This is the one I got: www.boardgamequest.com/ramen-fury-r... We still haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping it will be fun!

Wow, these are stunning!

Actually I'm not sure what the "spoilers" rules are for the MKAL. Usually the designer mentions it somewhere, but since I don't actually have time to knit this one I haven't checked.

Does she have the ramen card game? I just got it for a birthday gift for someone, we haven't tried it yet but it looks fun (and comes in a red packet disguised as ramen).

I know I've told you before, but I love how the blanket turned out, it shows off both the yarn and the pattern so well. ❤️

Ooh, exciting! I hope you're enjoying it so far!

I just sent you an email about an idea we're working on - let me know if you don't see it!

Borrowing the needles for another project is totally something I do too. You would think I would have learned to take notes by now, but somehow I never do...

That's one of my favourites too!

Thank you 🥰

Thank you! These are my oldest kid's favourite colours, so I knew I needed to make him something with the yarn 😀

We do too! So soft and squishy and fast to knit!

Looks normal to me!

It's adorable! (and I also struggle with finishing things when I don't have a firm deadline...)

My kiddo votes for the bottom left too - but I like the rocket ship!

Pattern is a modified version of the Lamina wrap by @ambahobrien.bsky.social Yarn is a fingering weight Cormo that we featured in one of our Beyond Merino yarn club boxes in 2023.

True, but in this case it did actually lose a lot of colour in the when I soaked it, so I think there was definitely unbonded dye still coming off. I haven't had a chance to try knitting with it again since it's dried, but I'm hopeful that it will be better.

Yay! So happy it arrived safely!

All the tariff back-and-forths and new rules have been tough for small businesses to navigate, but I'm hoping that the end result will be more transparency in supply chains for both businesses and consumers.

I think that context matters too. We've never felt the need to market our yarns made from imported fibres "made in Canada" but I've spent quite a lot of time this week trying to figure out the regulations around Country of Origin labeling for shipments to the US (which is now a customs requirement).

Absolutely 😘

Nice! I think the SMTP/HTTP analogy is super useful as a way to explain the difference between a platform and a protocol.

Thank you! They were originally designed as a mystery knit-along, so there's lots of fun variations on the motif to keep things interesting!

"Everything is terrible and we are doing our best" is exactly how it feels to be a small business owner right now...

Haha, yes!

That's a good thought, but I don't think it's the case here. We're on city water and don't have any bleeding with synthetic dyes. I have a feeling this is partly because I didn't scour the wool properly, and maybe that matters more with indigo. I've done other indigo since that hasn't bled so 🤷‍♀️
