It's a gender-coded performance. To not point it out because doing so might be "sexist" doesn't seem like a good idea.

never forget that democratic leadership never even commented on GOP house members’ joy ride through CECOT

It's such a nutty thing to say that I have to suspect she's trolling. On the other hand, she's also a complete fucking nutjob, so I guess it could go either way.

Not sure what this is supposed to signify, but jpost.com is, for better or worse, very much still active.

You seem pretty hung up on his illegal status. What about this do you think is so important?

I've only ever known one trans person, and it was a service relationship, quite impersonal. I just have a soft spot for relatively powerless people who already have hard lives and are demonized by the worst (and often powerful) people in the world. These days that's a target rich category.

More like he STOLE someone else's children! because the whole terrorist angle is working out so well for them.

Something that famously _never_ happens, hopefully Andy Ngo, Revealer of Truth (TM) is on the case.

This guy thinks that reasoned argument consists of character assassination...and he's not even good at it.

In general, I don't see the fact of his "illegal" status (a derogatory term in any case) to be especially important, in light of the fact that he seems to have been a perfectly decent contributor to society who ended up sent to a dungeon for no good reason.

It's not so much a matter of "both sides," but of a story with many details, not all of which are equally important. In that respect, I definitely did not state all of the facts. I focused on what I regarded to be important at the moment.

As I understand it, you were objecting to a protest sign that says "No Illegal Deportations." This sign seems to me to be perfectly intelligent and in keeping with all the facts.

They're all just shouty-voiced grievance mongers. It's their entire governing platform. That, and cruelty.
