When the race started, every racer drifted into the off-road, so there's probably going to be an off-roading element to the game, which may be peak. Boosting onto the off-road to get to shortcuts has always been my favorite part of MK8.

a major update, or god forbid a tf3 all polished up to modern standards, side by side with deadlock and cs2, would be nothing but good for valve and the community. obviously, this is what the community has been echoing for years now. but for a good reason, man. for a good reason.

Role queue, getting rid of 6v6, and getting rid of the 2cp maps were all objectively abysmal changes that did absolutely nothing but make the game less fun. It stopped feeling like a more polished TF2 and started feeling like moba trash. Especially with all the monetary changes OV2 brought in. Fuck.
