Surely this new video won't make me seem like a crank. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEJp...

Finally getting the hang of #Godot and made some progress on the game. I implemented basic pickups and a simple enemy that constantly chases the player. Still working on dialogue boxes and scene transitions (and everthing else). Baby steps, but it's exciting to see things starting to take shape.

Our thoughts with the family & friends of Viktor Antonov. He was a visionary who added a unique and powerful voice to our medium. Moreover, we interviewed several of his colleagues over the years and were always confronted with broad smiles when his name came up. Thank you Viktor. Rest in peace.

Probably gonna take more breaks from bsky to focus on finishing my projects. It's difficult when so much weird shit is going on.

Throwback to an exercise of speedpainting a Sonic-like map using exactly 4 custom brushes in Aseprite 🪙

I surpassed 8192 YouTube subscribers, so I animated a journey through my artistic development as a celebration. Thanks for watching my animations, everyone! youtu.be/hhq0EMhct6o?...

not trying to minimize the harms being done but please believe the country supports trans kids your enemies are made of paper

It's fascinating how the intersection of Elon Musk and Billy Mitchell is a desire to cheat in video games for status.

I uploaded one of the original studio demos Stéphane did back in 1993. He re-discovered this tape less than a year ago, and I'm so happy it exists.

Incredibly depressing. This guy knew how to make the OPL2 chip sing - Dune, KGB and of course MegaRace. RIP to a legend.

Last year, Stephane was able to locate a couple of MegaRace demos he wrote back in '93. Here is Factory Land, which sounds just as good as the final FM track, IMO.

Last year, I was able to get in touch with Stephane Picq, a musical hero of mine. His soundtrack for MegaRace on DOS is what got me interested in video game music, all those years ago. I was working with him on ripping the MIDI data and FM instruments to the game for an OST remaster. RIP my friend ❤️

This weekend, I finally finished this script (that I've been working on for over six months) and recorded all the narration for my next big documentary. This is going to be the longest video I have ever made. 🙃

If you missed it, @geoffreybunting.bsky.social wrote a comprehensive and heartfelt retrospective on #RescueOnFractalus, my first game at #LucasfilmGames #LucasArts in honor of its 40th anniversary. Lots of videos, great quotes, covering this magical time. #retrogaming #gamedev #fractals

The entire archive of CDC datasets can be found here. HUGE shoutout to data archivists- this work is important 👏🙌🏻 archive.org/details/2025...

Been on it

To the person who bought several tracks and albums on Bandcamp, thank you so much for your support. 🙏❤️

Instead of ruining a person online, I blocked them. They literally have no idea what they narrowly missed. Sometimes, if you make being the worst your mission, you aren't actually "getting away" with it.

This is the track in question: synamax.bandcamp.com/track/tetsuo...

Last night, I found an FL Studio project file from 2012 that I thought was lost in a hard drive crash over a decade ago. I opened up the project and miraculously, all my samples and VSTs still worked. So happy right now, never thought this would happen.

vladikcomper on the SGDK discord has created an amazing and ridiculous mod for Sonic the Hedgehog (MD) in which quality degrades to different resolutions/numbers of colors unless you fill your blast processing meter up. It works real time in wide screen in a smaller rom size than the original game.

I really don't talk about this stuff so I'm only going to say this once. I'm named after someone who was murdered in Auschwitz. The fact that we're still having to deal with this in 2025 is absolutely disgusting.

People are registering displeasure with Cybertruck owners.
