Not Asimov. That's Arthur C Clarke.

Looks great. Reminds me of the creatures in Dark Crystal.

I’ve played some market row games where a good card came out and no way of mitigating for other players like having a cost associated with freshly drawn cards, etc.
Here I may be being too picky. But it still stuck out at me.
There is some compensation for the 2nd player though in other areas.

No, it's a normal market row, but in the 2 player game I played, the second player's recharge always refreshed the market row for the other player.
I'm not a big fan of market row in general, too much luck of the draw.

Don't get me wrong, I think the core mechanism for actions is great. I wished we had played with the expansion (fixes a worker issue we had).
I can see why people like it.
UI choices gave us issues & I wish the card play was a bit quicker a la Spice Road or had a bit more power without workers.

I definitely need to take some shots while playing the game. Next time.

This is at the Salt Palace in SLC and there’s a con next to it for Utah’s Laws & Regulations. No idea if it’s related.

Yeah, my form isn’t great. Been climbing a year and need to get a better handle on proper form. My climbing gym has a fundamentals of movement class I should take one day.
Though some sends click for me and “feel right.” This one didn’t.
I only did it once. Should try again and focus.

Was out of town for a week and came back to find this route rated V2-V3. Yay me. My second V2-V3 I've been able to do.

That's a good one. Started out ok, but really found its way by the end of season 2 when it got cancelled.

It's a good series to start with. Once you're done with the first Era (The Final Empire, Well of Ascension, & The Hero of Ages), I'd recommend Warbreaker. You can get it for free from his site, it's self contained, & is a really good story with a unique magic system.

Yep. Exactly how I felt when I realized what it was about. Had a few great moments, but overall very mid.

Since we named our 3rd kid, Kaladin, I should say Way or Kings or Words of Radiance, but my favorite is Oathbringer.
I tried to convince my wife to name him Dalinar, but that was a hard no. My wife doesn't read the books, she liked the nickname Kal & warmed up to the full name being Kaladin.
