At least part of this was him being obsessed with how other people regarded him and, by extension, how their perception of me would affect their regard for him. Like he got pissy at me once for talking about my asexuality because it told his male friends I wasn't attracted to him, and GOD FORBID

At no point did I ask his opinion on any of this. I just expressed what I wanted, and he felt the need to chime in. But then, he did that on a lot of subjects. 🙄
