Three successful wakeups! It would’ve crashed by now for sure. Not going to consider it fixed 100% just yet, but it’s looking hopeful! The true test is leaving it overnight, heh. #linux #amd #acpi

@Lilium_Mortem cook something new & healthy. Go out, buy some ingredients you’ve never used, and try your hand at a nice meal!

@chirpbirb https://keepingyouawake.app How about this? It’s got an auto-updater, but no analytics that I’m aware of.

@netbat that sounds like a brain zap! They’re annoying, but hopefully temporary.

@Lilium_Mortem scales are glossy and I guess some people equate glossy with moist and slimy? Or that reptiles are like amphibians? IDK how it works either, but I have heard people say they assumed snakes were slimy.

@Lilium_Mortem most people still think snakes are gross and slimy and scary. Not the adorable little often-spicy noodle boopers that they are.

@Lilium_Mortem Agreed. It really does feel like that kind of a day…

They've all been identified! Thanks everyone for your help! The people were from the credits of Crystalis, and the second was a boss from Faxanadu!

@Lilium_Mortem I thought it was marginally creative that in most Zelda games you attack with a sword and have a magic meter. In Echoes of Wisdom you attack with magic and have a sword meter.

[LLMs] @anthropy hmmm. That’s a good analogy! So the vectors are more specially relationships between words. (Or I presume “tokens”.) So a string of input text becomes a graph of vectors of relationships between tokens? Egh. I need to think about this. It’s wild.

[LLMs] @anthropy Yeah, the use of vectors to represent some kind of meaning is where I immediately get lost. I can understand the idea of consecutive matrix operations transforming a series of vectors, but words to vector chains that represent meaning, then back to words as an answer is hard […]

[LLMs] @anthropy I’d love to hear more! LLMs are technically really cool, and I really want to learn more about them from a technical perspective! (It’s really hard to avoid the problematic aspects if you just look online…)

@Lilium_Mortem I don't have a save point, but at this stage I'm also ready to offer my grandmother's amulet of +3 lightning protection as a reward. It's only a blue-colored drop, but it's worth at least 95 gold!
