I have a similar yet different story! Stockton, CA. Blown tire. Single 20ish. Midnight, bad part of town.
Trooper said I can call a tow, no I can't loosen your lugs. I couldn't afford that. He drove away! I'm in my work skirt n heels. He left! It took me forever to change my tire. Scared to death! 😞

My Mom made a pistachio cake that was the bomb! The only problem was having us kids crack the nuts, I can't tell you how many times she yelled "quit eating the pistachios, they are for the cake not you!!!!" Ahhh memories 🥰
