It's the natural quality of their voice. I think anyone can change their voice, but fewer people have that tone that attracts attention without becoming annoying.

That would be voices and the ability to create a "scene".

Ahh that feeling..

Jeg anede ikke du spillede DnD. Er du stadig aktiv?

Looks like a great place to play DnD :)

That surprised me too, but it seems like demographics and someone's hobby or profession have a lot to do with it.

Characters die in 5e too. I know it’s not as easy as in OSR, but it's possible. I’ve run sessions where my players had to survive ice-cold mountains, wastelands, forests, and more. Sure, it can be a lot of work, but sometimes it’s more fun not to go too deep into the details when planning.

Sorry, I don’t know much about old-school DnD/TTRPGs or hex crawls, but if a hex crawl just means moving from hex to hex on a map with random events happening, then that should be easy to set up in DnD 5e as well.

Folks don´t seem to get how damaging it can be for a product. bsky.app/profile/tabl...

I usually just "wing it". Do some exploration/combat. I don't think it has to be made into a big deal when you miss a few players. They just tag along in game, and let the rest have fun.

Pretty much spot on there Pat 🙂 Feel better soon.

8/ Are these mere experiments? Or is there something darker at hand? I guess we will find out...

7/ What is the Lord of Cloyton up to? Does he truly possess an artifact that enhances creatures? What are the side effects? They recently learned from a young, hidden kobold that a "shiny thing" grants power but brings excruciating pain and damages the mind.

6/ The party is also slowly unraveling a deeper mystery: powerful forces are at play, perhaps a hidden network of seemingly ordinary shops and nobles or maybe something even greater.

5/ Many party members fell unconscious, a few died, but were resurrected by Tholons priests. Now, they are hunting those responsible. At least one of them had a yellow glimmer in her eye.

4/ In the first session, the players were summoned for a grand gathering in Tholon. Many of the realm's greatest warriors and protectors gathered before the King's castle. But then, a meteor storm struck the crowd.

3/ Pale skin and a yellow reflection in their eyes seem to identify such beings. The King of Serora has been recruiting and sending out spies to uncover what is really happening behind the fortified walls of Willhail, the capital of Cloyton.

2/ It is rumored that Cloyton, known for its well trained assassins, military strength, weapon technology, and mechanics, has discovered an artifact capable of enhancing one's powers. Odd altered creatures and people have started appearing, exhibiting abilities far beyond their natural limits.

1/ On the continent of Zerimoor, in the region of Serora, the Cloyton region has begun acting unfriendly toward the other regions. Once maintaining good relations with all, especially with the Kasnar region, and the City, Tholon, where the king resides, Cloyton's behavior has taken a sudden turn.

Hey hey! This is an awesome list of great resources. Any chance I might find myself on it in the future? I’ve written a guide for kids who want to create their own adventures and it’s completely free.

That looks very familiar, and I even sleep to 6am most days. Sending virtual strength, and if I could I would buff you with some level 7 spell.

That's crazy. So you have to pay for therapy yourself? Is it because he stutter? Vincent stutter, but it's been much worse. I am worried that if it doesnt get better in school we'll have to look into what possibillities there are to help.
comment in response to post
Is speach therapy something you need to pay for? I thought that if the school deemed it important, the government would cover the costs.

Now they're ready for the Tarrasque.. 🙄
