Looks really cool - think it’ll be Steamdeck compatible?

The texture on the cape was added by stippling on Fresh Rust from The Army Painter. The bumps on the shoulders were part of the miniature.

On the shoulders? I’ll be painting those later with a regular brush.

Stuff will be provided. If you prefer certain brushes then you can certainly bring your own, but otherwise there’ll be @thearmypainter.bsky.social paints and brushes there. And the teachers will provide models to paint on, I believe.

I’ve never seen a gnome, and I’ve lived in Wisconsin my entire life. That said, @thenoobpainter.bsky.social also has a good point.

I don’t notice any negative change personally - but then again, I stay away from everything but my “Following” tab and a few keywords I search for.

Some seem different, and some aren’t. I’d heard that the original ones were too fragile and snapped at the ankles a lot? Not sure if true.

That’s good! I’m just saying that many indies do (sometimes they send it to me) and I feel bad if it’s something I’m not going to talk about. An email first would save them time and money.

I try to talk about indie stuff in equal measure to the bigs (and frequently, I feel I talk about indie stuff a bit more) but it’s not out of fairness or anything - it’s because it’s what I like and play. I play non-GW stuff WAY more than GW stuff. I won’t really talk about stuff I’m not into.

I get some stuff sent to me from “the big company” and sometimes get stuff sent to me from indie companies as well. ALL companies should email first and ask if the YouTuber or whatever in question is interested in said thing. Would save everyone a lot of money. Just sending stuff isn’t the answer.
