This was the first year I didn't get all the way through the AA and had 0 regrets about it. It was literally the worst experience I've had in the 8 years I've been going.

Literally the only thing that sakura con has a leg up on over ECCC lol. But yeah, I feel like they oversold tix this year for Saturday. It was the worst AA experience yet. AND there was a severe lack of pro panels IMO.

Agreed. He didn't get rich by paying everyone a living wage. I've contracted for MS 4 times. No FT conversion. >50% of the workers are contractors. No paid holidays, PTO policy barely above state mandated min (0 before WA mandated sick pay), at-will employment with no stability due to the 18/6 rule.

He's problematic, for sure. But as someone that grew up in the area, there's no doubt that he's committed to bettering the world. (The problem is, he does that for the causes which HE ALONE decides are worthy, and in the ways HE believes are right. Thats the problem w/concentration of money & power)

Because women are used to being treated like this and are OVER IT. Most of us have learned that we need stand up to assholes like this by now. Meanwhile, those "protect the women" men are confused and wetting their pants at the prospect of having to take any actual action.

Honestly, I'd love a "where are they now?" I hear the bass player for Fountains of Wayne hated the spotlight, but Staceys Mom opened up career opportunities away from it. He had nominations for Grammies, academy awards, and Golden Globes. He also won an Emmy. But we lost him in 2020 to COVID.
