I've been flying blind on this for too long, finally adding visualization for the weapon hitboxes. Each sphere becomes a spherecast that traces different positions per-frame. The hitboxes support differing radii and damage along it's length. #gamedev #indiegame #fps #unity3d

Finally figured this one out; the IK is defined relative to the transform the Animator is on! I had some smoothing code that causes the camera (and body) to lag behind a little bit, so the animator being "above" that lag caused the mismatch in the IK... #gamedev #indiegame #fps #unity3d
