Is this your version of the Onion's "No Way to Prevent This" article? Evergreen content.

This is extremely specific…but yeah I kinda get it.

I'll give it a 7.5/10 for now, will probably watch again in the coming weeks and have more to say. But, boy, do I hope that MLS keeps working on content like this. This is the kind of thing we've been begging for on Season Pass, and I'd hate for this to be a one and done. 7/7

That passion is what needs to be shared with people who don't know a lot about MLS or soccer. People who love the sport, the team, and the players, should be the ones talking about why the stories are important. Injecting a bit of that would have made the series much better. 6/7

In my experience, people fall in love with MLS (and soccer in general) not because they are blown away by the quality of play, but because of the experiences they have when they go to the stadium and take it in for themselves. 5/7

Also, as much as I love guys like Mo Edu and Herc Gomez, it did feel a little weird to have them being the people to give context to all these stories. I feel like inclusion of fan perspectives in those bits would have been more effective and made you care more about what was going on. 4/7

Would love to see them explore single stories more. The Tim Parker story was great, but that episode also tried to tell stories about Bradley Carnell, Johnny Russell, Peter Vermes, the owners on both sides, etc. A stronger focus on any one of those stories would have been much more intriguing. 3/7

Unfortunately, the episodes felt a little samey to me, especially the rivalry episodes. The individual stories are great, but it's hard to get too invested when they're splitting an episode with another club. 2/7

I am very happy about this, I don't have access to FS2.

Finally bit the bullet and subscribed the @soccerwisehq.bsky.social Patreon. May they keep the flame of ETR burning forever. 🫡

Enjoyed the hot takes from @royalriothayden.bsky.social and @shinkicker13.bsky.social. Very curious to hear about this potential striker addition...spill the beans, Mattey!

This was a lot harder than I anticipated... 1. Ocarina of Time 2. Diddy Kong Racing 3. Mario Party 2 4. Banjo-Kazooie 5. Super Mario 64 6. Super Smash Brothers 7. Pokémon Stadium 8. Goldeneye 9. Majora's Mask 10. Mario Golf Wave Race, DK64, and Snowboard Kids just barely missed out.

Downgrade from the beehive kit, absolutely, but I think this could look pretty good with navy shorts. Definitely weird, but you won’t mistake us for any other team!

Would love to see a supporter's group arrange a watch party at one of these stores.

Trey, was a full roster ever released for pre-season?

Digging Diego’s white hair too.

Most RSL fans were surprised to see his contract not renewed. Made a few first team appearances for us and was solid. City getting a good value here, super excited to see him stay in MLS.

I know he was on RSL's radar a few years ago, so could definitely be us! Would be thrilled if we got him!

Tree is older, expensive, and requires an international slot. I would guess he’s fairly safe. MacMath is probably most likely to be taken. An experienced MLS keeper, on a pretty low salary, probably still has 4-5 years left to play.

Does this mean y'all are posting here now? Please.

Jaziel Orozco for me. Was promising the few times we saw him, expected his loan to be a Pablo Ruiz to Pinzgau sort of situation, get him minutes then bring him back in a bigger role.

Located in Salt Lake City. Lived in Japan during college and began following their national team while there. Started watching Brighton for Kaoru Mitoma after the 2022 World Cup and decided to stick around.
