My favorite thing about this is it does the "upscale of what it looks like, not what it's supposed to be" thing (except for Kirby's (Sakurai-coded decision)).
I like how Luigi looks like Brawl Taunts, Dr. Mario like scratchU8, and Mario like the German "Do the Mario" video.

Most of all, the realization makes me want whatever samples they were using.
I've always liked those instruments even if they most likely aren't real. They'd be great to have for the classes I'm taking right now.
