ah, I see. I like nuggets, but only homemade ones or from fastfood lol, the frozen ones are the worst of them tbh. but then again, I think the only frozen foods I like are vegetables, seafood and some dumplings/gyoza, all the meat stuff, nuggets included, just tastes bad no matter how many we tried

It should be noted though that IDW creators at the time were also from fan circles and always supported fandom's creativity, so it's also came to luck of being in the right fandom with the right artstyle at the right time.

I was a witness to three different fanartists/BNFs getting gigs at Transformers IDW comics back in the days, none of them comic pros. From what I could tell, they've been:
1. Very active on SocMed with arts AND talking/making connections to IDW creators.
2. Active at cons where they met IDW staff.
