Unique opportunity to join the CytoMorpho Lab (in Paris ❤️) as a postdoc to work on the self-organization and polarization of reconstituted networks made of microtubules, motors and actin filaments in vitro. Experience required. Please Repost 🙏 thanks !

Huge congrats @ellenberglab.bsky.social !!🎊

Congrats Eszter and Danelle!!🎊

Come start your lab in beautiful Strasbourg 🇫🇷 www.nature.com/naturecareer...

Huge congrats Vir, Paula, and the @williamsrepro.bsky.social lab!🎊

NEW #research from the Zanders Lab & Halfmann Lab in @plos.org shows how selfish genes “cheat” inheritance to ensure they’re passed to the next generation. Learn how the discovery could help scientists better understand #fertility & #neurodegeneration. Learn more: bit.ly/41uOr8V WATCH: (part 1/3)

1/46 Hey folks, we have a new paper out on the MuLTEE. Strap in and I’ll tell you the story of how this “little paper on polyploidy” turned into the most data rich paper our lab has produced, largely thanks to the leadership and work ethic of @kaitong25.bsky.social. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

New Akera's lab paper! Congrats @takashiakeralab.bsky.social and Eddie!

We are delighted to share our latest work, characterising the role of BRCA2 and its binding partner PALB2 at centromeres, just out in the latest issue of Cell Reports. ⬇️ www.cell.com/cell-reports...

Candidate PhD students. This is for you! We are recruiting a PhD student for our MSCA Doctoral Network on the topic of metabolic regulation of genome function and cell identity. !!! importantly: we will recruit a PhD student for our brand new lab at SciLifeLab in Stockholm

*Tenured full Professorship in Genetics and Molecular Cell Biology* at the University Of Cologne, Germany It's an opportunity to rebuild the place that used to be home to luminaries including Benno Müller-Hill, Max Delbruck, Campos-Ortega, Diethard Tautz Maria Leptin, Thomas Langer

I have an opening for a PhD student in my lab @unigroningen.bsky.social to explore the dynamics of the cytoplasm and its connection with metabolism. Application until March 18. For more info: heinemannlab.eu/wp-content/u... We are a cool lab with amazing, happy people. 😃 Please distribute.

Congrats Soni and the team!🎉

Our new review on how the #chromatin domain is formed in the cell is now available @Curr Opin Struct Biol.📄✨ We critically discuss the domain formation mechanism from a physical perspective, including #phase-separation and #condensation. 📥 Free-download link: authors.elsevier.com/a/1keGn,LqAr...

Check out our latest paper in Science Advances, in which we built a constriction-based microfluidic device to measure the deformability of oocytes to assess their mechanical properties with minimal impact. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

🚀Excited to share preprint as my last work in the Tachibana lab! Our study shows how the pioneer factor NR5A2 ensures robust gene activation through feed-forward regulatory loops with lineage-determining factors. A quick summary follows (1/n) www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

Congrats Needhi and the team!🎊

We have an open position for a research technician position in my lab at Cleveland Clinic. We study oncogenic signaling in leukemia and lymphoma. DM for details.

ATTENTION (PLEASE SHARE) If anyone has or knows of any positions that might be appropriate for the NIH staff members who were terminated, please post the information in this thread. There are lots of talented and accomplished people who may be looking for new opportunities.

Now seems a good time to mention that I haven't yet filled a postdoc position in phylogenetic methods. If you just lost your job, need something temporary, and know something about bioinformatics/statistics/evolution, talk to me.

Don’t miss the early bird registration for this exciting meeting focused on neglected areas of genetics, cellular and structural biology. Lots of slots for speakers selected from abstracts. 2-4 April 2025 in Edinburgh.

Congrats on the great work🎉

Congrats Laura and the team!🎉 Exciting work!

Asked similar question before but I try again. Anyone knows proteins that localize like this? This protein is present in diplonemids/bodonids/euglenids/Naegleria, which have two flagella, but not in trypanosomatids that have just one flagellum. Potentially interesting for flagella/cilia community?

Great looking group leader position at CNRS Strasbourg on host-pathogen interactions in insects

Today’s the day! I’m happy to announce that the Murphy Lab will be moving to Cornell this July! The lab will be in Biotech and I’ll be joining the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. There will be lots of recruiting soon, including students and postdocs. Please RT. 🙏 TY.
