Oh yeah i see! Like you said basically a blueprint of the ship except maybe I'd use the construction script in this case to drive all the pieces so you can see the changes live.
I'd do the same class naming system like in my attachments video as well

If you're not in my discord you should be haha I'm interested in what "object" that BPI wants.
And just make lingerie sure that you implemented the interface in your player? Then scripted the function inside your players interface?

Haha yeah the cast node is just checking that the object belongs to a specific class and then getting a hard reference to it. Since you already have the weapon from your player cast, you already have access to the variables in it and you don't need to cast again

It looks like the object from the array would be just a weapon from that weapon array. Couldn't you just access the weapon component straight from the array element?
