I was 100% going to send this to you when I stumbled across it. I didn't really get the kink part, but the rest of the OP reminded me a lot of you.

I haven't tried any grips yet! I'm adding this one to my wishlist as well because I think I want to buy a couple different grips to see which would work best for me. This one looks really promising too, and has a good color variety.

Yeah I think I see some similar ones on Amazon. They popped up when I searched for 'ergo apple pencil grip' so I might have to try one of those. The apple pencil causes so much hand discomfort, I wasn't sure how well those grips would alleviate that.

What apple pencil grip is that? Do you find it helps with hand pain and fatigue?

Kuna just standing there without even trying, and aura-farming. You are so powerful 💪

Adorable! Love the crisp linework and the coloring, especially on the otter's eyes!

I love the friendship and connections I've made through these communities. It's so wholesome and most of us just want to lift everyone up. I never thought that some of these spaces (like, TLKFAA) would still exist 25 years later. And I'm glad we're all still connected to each other through our art.

Gotta love it XD

Hell ya buddy, russian bot

Yeah same. I was already crackin' under the pressure I placed on myself for not being good enough and not 'making it'. Couldn't imagine if a bunch of disconnected strangers were also putting pressure on me. I was allowed to disappear off the internet and delete my presence easily. I could fade away.

I do miss those days like on LJ when we cared less about carefully curated spaces and making sure we mind our 'Ps and Qs' so that we don't get perceived as problematic. If Bluesky ever had a friend's only or curated private-list-view only option. Buuuut it probably won't fix anything.
comment in response to post
What did we do about this during the LJ days? Idk probably get all worked up over the dumbest shit on Lilymud, like people claiming they were 'special' because they can make their fist look like a lion's paw. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I agree with that about discourse. I don't even bother. I'm also pretty lazy and engaging said discourse expends too much energy and I don't feel like wasting all that when I'm just trying to -exist- in day-to-day shit.

Gotcha, I misunderstood. I'm not saying I know all the answers. But I'm not sure if the desired outcome is to lurk simply because a couple of ppl have short-sighted, mistaken opinions about you. Do those people actually matter? Are you friends with them? Will you ever actually interact? Prolly not.

I don't think you're as unlikable as you think you are. And if you feel like you're conning people into sticking around more than you feel like you deserve -- fuck it. Let them be conned. I think you're spiraling in a whirlpool of negativity. Breathe, it's okay. I don't mind being 'conned' either

Of how you're supposed to present yourself to others? I mean, we all do it. Hence my reply about 'masking'.
comment in response to post
Do you think that you're setting an impossible standard for yourself?
comment in response to post
I know i used the word 'better' after just saying people aren't inherently 'good' or 'bad'. But I mean the word 'better' as defined as being whatever version of ourselves that makes us feel more at home, safer, more stable. Dwelling on our past flaws destabilizes us (and makes us 'crash out')
comment in response to post
But even with the mask, I think it just kind of shows that some people really are just... very superficial. It's so silly, I put on the mask to appear superficial and they somehow get 'conned' by it, hahaha. But also I think we need to be better people to not define ourselves by our past so much.

Yeah that's really strange that the person (I saw the comment) used wholesome to describe you so many times. It just kind of stood out as a head-scratcher to me. I feel like maybe they are caught up on using the word and its not necessarily the best way to describe you or your art.

I think people are so used to interacting with the mask that we put on in public-facing interactions. And they assume that the mask is all that we are. But yo... my mask is just a performance that I put on out of pure survival. My mask is YOU mirrored. It makes me feel like less of a person.

I'm really sorry that you're looping through an internal feedback loop right now. It happens to all of us. I don't put people into boxes of whether they are 'good' or 'bad'. I believe people are just... people. And maybe not all of us are extraordinary. But we still can just BE.

Whaaaat I had no idea there was a TLKFAA discord.
