The texture-work with the point and rake brushes, the glitchy effect, the layered colors and shading on Ollie and the background --- ah it's all so lovely! Great work with this! And I really like the message too.

I trapped my partner into another 50 minute not-fully-consensual discussion about the ham-fisted ending of the 'Mufasa' movie.

I'm about to be thrown out of this house if I keep doing this to my partner about Lion King and Disney movies.

*snorting the villainy of these lyrics like cocaine* ahhh yes. This is more like it. 'Twas a different time back then.

Maybe this guy? He was basically the UHC denial of insurance coverage of Disney villains. Only thing I remember about this movie was how quickly his wife was like "yeah, let's kill the mother fucker" when she found out what he was doing. It had me chuckling.

No but seriously, what the fuck is this villain song. Our precious sensibilities can't have songs where villains say "kill", "murder", "pain", or any reference of violence? I mean, I'm trying to remember the last time Disney had a true villain and gave them a song, and it's not coming to me. Gothel?

I hope so too! I long for the community we used to have with those LJ days. But at the same time, the internet is just a different place nowadays. I do think it's important that in these perilous times, we offer a voice to people who may be feeling the same and feeling alone and scared.

I keep hoping I will be better about it and be more open. It's not something to fear, but I think it's for the same reason you do. I'm afraid of being perceived as such. I'm such a hypocrite, but this year I hope to make some changes in that area. We'll see...

Yeah I totally get that. It's one of my big struggles. I've lost decades of my life to my mental and physical health issues. And I'm still not out of the woods yet, it still imposes on me constantly. And yet I keep it off of social media, for some reason.

Never apologize for this. We need to get rid of the notion that we need to sterilize our lives online. It's so performative.

Thanks! It was my attempt of making them look a little cartoony and simplified, similar to how traditional tea pets look. I still probably added too much detail at the same time though. 3D media is a brand new realm for me.

I'm really sorry. What a nightmare of grief for you and your family to have to go through.

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you two!!! You both look so content and happy!

People create more when their lives are stable and they are happy and therefore, able to sit down and focus on being creative because they don't have to worry about Every Other Little Thing. People under extreme stress are much less likely to do that because they have other things to prioritize.

I used to go nutso for the Green Apple Jones soda. But looking at that brussel sprouts flavored one is making my face turn green.

My situation definitely had way less restrictions. I'm about 60% there to shrimp mode (just cant sit lurched forward yet). My doc basically told me "Don't lift anything over 10 pounds and just don't do anything that hurts or feels uncomfortable." Belly sleepin' is probably happening tonight.
