“Feminism is not innately free from power hierarchies and has been hostile to racialized and transfeminized women” gets purposed into “therefore a female liberation politic is bad for marginalized women.” Real convenient double-speak for anti-feminists

Ranked Competitive Breast Growth chapter 13 by @tpwrtrmnky.bsky.social and @taliabhatt.itch.io is out and accessible with the previous ones in the link below. Katherine is so dumb I love her, I cannot wait to die voicing the next chapter. nc.aetherial.xyz/s/mXnrjaHiq4...

Really capturing the personalities here, I didn't even have to check alt text :D

👀 these are really good!!

I transitioned at 29. I got there in the end. I didn't go through any legal means. I managed. Shouldn't have had to, though. We can tell each other that we'll take care of each other and pull through and also note that zealots and fanatics are inflicting untold suffering on us for no reason.

Staring at my drafts with just the most expressionless look right now

Metatextually this reflects how my coauthor is the only person I find worthy of making creative decisions for me to follow

if you’re gonna read anything today, let it be this. ESPECIALLY if you’re a trans man or masc. it encapsulates the last decade of transmasc ideological and emotional friction within how we conceptualize our own oppression/identity, esp in relation to trans women. and it made me cry, a hard task.

"haha you're totally a convenient rhetorical tool for me to undermine the necessity for feminism, right?" No.

once again — if you’re one of the fortunate ones in a big blue city you need to start thinking about how your community can handle a big influx of vulnerable, scared newcomers. this is not hypothetical, it is happening now

timed this to line up with a supreme court decision they clearly knew was coming. awesome system we have here.

the logic of the SC decision appears to be "this isn't discrimination based on a category because the category's existence and separability is real and universally verifiable" which has pretty grim consequences for other oppressive social stratifications of bodies and people

i'm kind of convinced atp that humankind will not be on the path to freedom until the day cis+heteronormativity is abandoned. until that happens we will have to deal with eternal legal challenges to women, queer+trans ppl, and also 300 articles/yr about "how can we make het sex Erotic again"

Two sides of the same coin (some people are too blind to what the first paragraph actually means and implies so I'm spelling it out)

Please do not tell any young trans people in your life right now who are devastated by the SCOTUS decision “you don’t have to pass to be loved”. That might actually be a hate crime.

Historians: "It would be anachronistic to project modern discourses of gender, sexuality and queerness onto the past, and we should strive to avoid imposing identities onto cultures and people." Legal regimes: "Transes was invented by Big Pharma in 2015 so we're banning it from hospital"

Modern history is a history of regimes giving infinite grace to fascists. It must cease.

"Bad things are only bad if we look at them" - every worthless liberal to ever draw breath.

There is a special place in hell for this court.

this is why i’m a court abolitionist
