Oh yeah if this was 2008, whoever the Dems ran would have automatically won by a lot, even if that Dem was a centrist who didn’t use Obama’s rhetoric. Hell, if this was 2008, Trump wouldn’t have made it out of the GOP primary. The dumbing down and radicalizing of the electorate was deliberate.
