The whole paper is an absolute nightmare funfair ride through the behaviours that have become almost instantaneously widespread through the professional world - something Microsoft have invested billions into accelerating and worsening no matter the consequences.

Even if you have Apple Intelligence disabled from the get go, every app is on by default to allow Apple Intelligence to learn from it. Have to disable one by one. Appalling dark pattern.

Nearly but not quite. Even if you turn off Apple Intelligence and Siri, there’s one more thing you need to do. Go into settings, scroll down to Apps, and then *for each app*, select Apple Intelligence and Siri, then turn off the slider for “Learn from this App”.

Outraged by Jan 6, he spent two years getting inside the top ranks of militias like the Oath Keepers. He was stunningly successful. He penetrated a new generation of militia leaders, which included doctors, cops & government attorneys.

As a “science type” I agree with you. In addition I think we will see a pattern play out that destroys various established professions - namely that C-suite will see gen AI as a way to eliminate apprenticeship and maximize shareholder value but creating a vacuum. Law, software, many more.
