I can’t decide between bow and dual blades in #mhwilds. On the one hand, bow is kind of my main weapon, but on the other I suck at getting tail cuts with it. For dual blades my main issue is that I have to be close to the monster and also stamina upkeep is a pain right now.

According to Capcom, the title of the game Sidearms is actually pronounced "sidearm", and the katakana for the title is written that way. Pronouncing it the way they spell the title in English in the logo going all the way back to the arcade is incorrect. That's not a joke. That one's real.

Does anyone recognise this instrument? Scale length about 405mm, floating bridge. The slots in the nut and bridge are all the same width, to fit the fishing-line strings. It looks like a learner or tourist instrument from a professional maker: expensive tools, cheap materials, serviceable finishing.

Wilds is absolutely GOTY so far but also fuck me the PC version runs like garbage. Like I get my PC is marginal (8th gen CPU/4070) for this game, but the game stutters so badly that I’m pretty sure there’s an actual issue with the game itself. Even with DLSS and frame gen it’s bad.
