I vividly remember our first SCART tv. I bought a cable specifically to play Starwing (Starfox) in stereo. 🦊

I spotted that just after replying, sorry! Tried a bit of extra research and not turning up much. I bought it new in the UK when it came out and don't recall it being labelled as a Special Edition. Might be mistaken though - it was nearly 14 years ago! 😲

I'm pretty sure this was standard, at least at launch. Could have been a European thing?

Having played it, it's more disorienting than immersive! 😆 Fun gimmick though.

I'm posting original scans & photos of exclusively Nintendo stuff over here if you want to add me!

An incredible collection! I had to let my prized PlayChoice 10 Deluxe go when I moved overseas. 😢 One day I'll get an original Nintendo cabinet back into my collection.

It does! Although the logo faces downwards when in playing position (low notes on the left, high on the right).

Slightly disappointed, but only because "ChuChu Pocket" was right there.

It occurred to me that some stuff I scan and share isn't already online, or is only currently available in low quality. To do my bit for videogame preservation I will also upload relevant things in full size to archive.org, starting today with these Bergsala manual scans: archive.org/details/boxi...

And here's Mario, whose special ability makes Yoshi able to move more quickly than usual.

Bergsala AB is quite a story - and if you're curious about it there's something exciting coming next week...😁

Here's a version I made with the background removed, making it much easier to see the detail including the numbers.
