Thank you. I’ve grieved over grandparents, lost students, coworkers, friends. Nothing is quite like losing a loving parent. I’m learning to live with it slowly.

I’ve read it countless times! That and the Emily series. Anne was like a best friend to me growing up. While I’m shyer than she is, I felt so connected with her love of nature, and reading.

What a fantastic idea! When I was in school I wrote a story inspired by a paragraph or two in a local history book I read at my library. (It was a non-circulating book.)
