True, that’s the whole basis of summoner in this case, tho a fancier way of the old ff formula of fight the summon to get the summon … just makes me more upset we can’t get all the other ones >.<

aether and knowledge until they manage to manifest that summon within themselves and utilize their element and power themselves. it'd probably also help that you had fought them once before as a primal, though thats just my idea of it

then they could try and start learning what they could of the eikon they would want to try and hold within themselves, be it by the associated beast tribe or whatever other methods there would be to learn of them, text, word of mouth, otherwise, and then beginning to align themselves with that-

if i were to say how they could be possible, summoners who would want to take their strength to levels beyond that of the summons and trances (give me ramuh gdi), if ones aether and will is strong enough to withstand aligning themselves to an element without going overboard and tempering themselves-

i had thought about trying to think up something on those lines, such as arkie being the dominant of sephirot (only cause i like nature themes a lot and that tree needs more representation somehow) thought of how was always kinda difficult, before that idea got abandoned for something else >.>
