Also fun fact: they did an anniversary manga later on and Graham gets to be a Gundam pilot. Him and Patrick really do get their best endings.

I can't catch a fucking break with it at all, so I tried an experiment where I did several games where I did absolutely nothing but auto discard, ignoring any chii/pon/kan calls and the results were the exact fucking same as if I'd actually been playing (end up in second or third because of tsumos)

They do it's just the lighting in the pic is off. That said they're not exactly thick outlines either and they're also on by default with no way to turn them off.
It's such a bare bones release that even current CR would think it's a bit lacking.
