Yesterday I was w/ a friend living w/ stage 4 cancer. People in her life whose cancer is held off by treatment in NIH-funded studies are now no longer able to access their meds. I practiced what I preach here often to everyone about self care and well being. I spent the day walking, went to the park, had some alone time and turned off my devices.
