turns out playing the Nuu mirror nearly every week at your armory makes you pretty good at the matchup! ended with life totals at 1-1 and i think there were just a couple mistakes right at the end that got me

W vs Aurora: newer player, started playing around when i did. they weren’t very familiar with assassin cards, so it was a little bit of a run away for me.

L vs Zen: Queued up against someone from my local meta, but i forgot they are on kodachi & boarded out frailty trap. we both made a decent amount of misplays & were a little frazzled after our round 1 losses. i lost to a razor reflex when i should have been a bit more aggressive the turn before

Draw vs Verdance: Probably won this one if i played a little faster bc i fatigued them at time

overall i think i'm probably gonna stick with sigil of solace over CYB, almost entirely out of spite. I think CYB is probably the better Nuu list, but I am not a huge fan of the card. But having a couple more instants to gain life feels good against disruption & it helps me fatigue a bit more

✅ win versus Dash: my former hearthstone player mentality lines up really nicely against dash, was able to race them down
❌ loss versus Vynnset: Was nearly able to keep their banished zone full enough in the midgame, but then they combo’d first. only 1 transcend on turn 1 this game 😞
