YOUNG: "I am hesitant to draw this conclusion, but I have an unflinching obligation to draw it – that this represents racial discrimination. And discrimination against America’s LGBTQ community. That’s what this is. I would be blind not to call it out. My duty is to call it out."

You can't wear body armor as it's effective a billboard sign that says "Shoot me with proper bullets, not less-than-lethal."
Heavier clothing to help absorb impact helps. Padded Carhartt jackets and pants. Stiffer leather motorcycle jackets. They aren't gonna be comfy in warm weather.

This is some deeply bass-ackward thinking, but attempting to resist injury from crowd control techniques, which I would argue are a sign that You're Doing It Wrong to the cops if you're injuring the crowd, is taken as a signal of "I am here to fight" rather than "Your methods are too violent".

Anyhow if you're out here sharing AltNPS' 12 million horseshit, miss me. You're part of the problem.

We seem to have got to about 5 million people in the streets already. I'm confident we can get to 12 million (3.5%) if things escalate far enough, which I unfortunately expect them to, since Trump and his minions are obsessed with rule by force.

The fact that Indivisible took the approach that empowered people to work together to start protests where they live rather than travel to a central location/big city to protest is a game changer. It mixes convenience with pride in your hometown, and the great benefit is building communities.

Again. We're not talking minor mistakes. We're talking "a group of teenagers walking together at the mall fall into lockstep rhythm better than that."

You know, y'all keep saying this, and the problem with it is that it's bullshit.
Marching in some semblence of rhythm is not a skill that needs honing--it's like bicycle riding--and the active duty and retired folks I know all said "wtf was that."
It wasn't just imprecise. It was ridiculous.

Like, idk, maybe going on Bill Maher and saying Dems need to help young men get laid more isnt an electoral strategy that really resonates with your colleagues for a reason
