This is what happens when incompetent people are appointed to jobs they are not qualified to do effectively

All you need to do is give an opinion that a fanatic does not like. It’s not a high bar.

She certainly not gonna get many basketball awards. Someone like her is bad for the league image.

Angel might be a better player if she focused more time on improving her game and less on herself and her own interests.

That should at least keep him employed through August before everyone realizes what a fraud he is and that he won’t ever find any resolution to autism.

I’m sure this will end me up on a bird haters list somewhere, lol.

Doves ARE not the smartest of birds for certain.
Blackbirds or crows is what we call them where I am, are loud and aggressive. They know to stay away from my yard because they eat all the food meant for the smaller birds so I always shoo the big bird’s way to give the smaller birds a chance.

The vote was 51-48 against, meaning EVERY “real” republican AND Maga Republican voted against it.
unless you think that “real”Republicans no longer have representation in Congress, that is.

This is what happens when mitch mcconnell wants to save his own ass so he calls in a few favors and votes against canadian tariffs because his state - kentucky - will lose millions in revenue due to the trump Tariffs.
comment in response to
post
Mitch is selfish & self absorbed, plus he knows kentucky is going to take a beating re: whiskey purchases. Canada is the biggest KY whiskey consuming customer that is now no longer buying it. The reason Trump is in the White House is Mitch. He had a chance to get rid of the felon & he passed on it.
comment in response to
post
The reason Mitch is voting with dems is because the whiskey made in his state is taking a hammer blow from Trumps tariffs, and it might be too late. Canada has already removed American liquor from their shelves and they’re not gonna buy it again until this idiot is no longer in the White House.

Stop complaining or name an option. The Idiocracy in charge right now is not an option.

This victory all by itself should kick the atomic destruction clock back at least an additional minute away from midnight.

Absolutely. Despite the failure of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin, he violated the law in trying to manipulate the vote. No question about that..

Two idiot Republicans complaining/discussing future congressional impeachments on Fox News is rather ironic, considering that is what they themselves have been pursuing since 1/20.
Let it happen for EVERY constitutional violator. Top to bottom.

One more senator with an actual spine, added to the list of Democrats, who are willing to sacrifice and do something about where we are.

Florida remains stupid, and thus will continue to deserve the stupid they have voted for.

I completely agree with this. Unless we get a lot more Jasmine Crockett type representatives, we are fucked.
The Democrats are just a passive form of evil at this point, doing nothing results in defeat.

Because she is a coward like all the rest. They stand on their bully pulpits on the Internet and lie, are stupid, or both.

Why don't we just let them fail, because they will.
Attack them now and everything will be your fault.
I hate to say, but if you let them destroy, they will lose all credibility.
It will hurt, But then they will be done.

Perhaps in avant garde circles, but the broader american public knew little of her until 1969.
Her art bio wasn't the point of this discussion anyway.

John had an accepting and ready audience for his experimental work. She did not.

They were essentially the opposite. John Lennon was a very Well known rock and roll person who wanted to experiment within that framework on songs that didn't normally fit into it.
Ono Was not well known outside the avant garde art world when they met, trying to fit her style into the rock world.

That's what it sounded like. How would you describe the sounds with no words that were coming out of her mouth pretty much every time she open it in those specific settings?
And I was not speaking of her attempts to create commercially acceptable music, just how people reacted to it.

I never said that you did not know what you were talking about. What I did say was that I always prefer to get information about something that occurred that long ago from a source who was there. Tbh I have never heard of you until now.
comment in response to

I would say that it's definitely something that occurs on Saturday night live, as it has for fifty years, But this occurred on the mike douglas daytime television talk show, which was not quite an audience of people interested in avant garde art of any type. Just the wrong forum that's all.

I am a big fan of matt williamson and his histories of the 60's bands. The industry itself was rife with corruption, not simply the rock press, but who knew jan wenner would try to corrupt and control the music industry through rolling stone rather than tell truth?
