After being busy for so many weeks and not really having time to catch up with the anime / manga you were reading, it's nice to be able to get back on track. Returning to a VN you didn't have the time to read anymore is always a nice treat.

Decided to have a little fun this year and made a (probably bad) decision to travel out of my state to go to Chicago to see Car Seat Headrest live. I'm sure if I waited just a few months for their album later this year, they would've had a show closer to home, but where's the fun in that?

Was hoping my new headphones would come in for my birthday today, but inclement weather has delayed it to (probably) tomorrow. It's been a long 5 days without a pair of headphones for my PC.

Bought an OLED monitor yesterday to celebrate the new year, and figured it was about time to upgrade my 11+ year old monitor anyways... I have it for one day before my headphones decide to break on me 🫠 Guess I'm getting a upgrade for my headphones too

Always a treat for lastfm to show me how obsessive my listening can get

Still unbelievable to me that Hirasawa decided to make the greatest song ever recorded, and then proceeded to drop it on an album filled with mostly reworkings of his old material. Absolute boss move

Present day, present time

Winter Sale pickups. Thinking about grabbing FMD Muramasa from JAST as well, but that's a bit out of my price range right now. Maybe in two weeks when I get my next paycheck? JAST's sale should be still on at that time...

I've had a lifelong fascination with vocal synths, but I always come in and out of the phase. Recently got back into them, and decided to check out some UTAU songs I listened to all the time, and dare I say these are the best vocal synth songs anyone has ever produced.

Discussed anime for the first time with my coworkers tonight, and it turns out that everything I thought was popular and will continue to stay popular didn't, and is anywhere from 10 to 40 years out of date

Re-watched Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name) for the first time since I saw it in theaters back in 2017. My thoughts on the movie are (still) incredibly mixed, and I think that I'll just have to accept the fact that this movie isn't meant for me personally.

Told myself I'd go to sleep early today for work later, and then I proceed to play Holocure for a 6-hour session. Oops.

Wrapped from this year! Not a bad year, but looking forward more to the roundup lastfm will give me at the very end of the year. I'm missing half of my plays since I refuse to touch Spotify on my PC.

I forgot how fun competitive Pokemon battling was. I've been doing gen4/5 randbats on Showdown and having a lot of fun. Music chat room on Showdown is fun too, but it was kind of scary being recognized in chat because I have a large number of plays for a specific artist

One of my favorites currently in serialization. I'm looking forward to watching when it airs.

Having just finished up with most of the Rance novels, it makes me wonder which to read next. I was originally planning on reading Ever17 and Never7 after getting fed up with waiting for the remaster, but with the announcement of the date on Sunday, I suppose I can wait a little more.
