Penix finds the opening and fires one through. Score!

The past couple years I’ve fully supported trading future picks for a good wing, but this roster all of a sudden feels like it could be torn down in the next year. I’d rather keep the picks, sad to say.

Upgrading from Brendel will be easy, if they so choose. RT is more difficult though because it would have to be through the draft most likely and rookie tackles are hit or miss. I’d also say they could upgrade Banks spot. He’s always hurt or playing bad because he’s nursing an injury.

Good to know, thanks!

I have not re-read book 4 and feel woefully unprepared.

Pull workouts it is.

The east is a joke. Nearly every team in the west could make the playoffs in the east. And it’s been like that for years.

No one respects his scoring. Throws his body into people and looks for fouls. It’s pathetic. Sorry Hawks fan, but it’s true.

Actually can stay in front of guys. Also led the league in steals. It’s not always perfect when he has to score 30 a game, but it is elite when he wants it to be. Trae is a garbage defender.

Incredibly high usage with good passing doesn’t overcome horrendous defense. He also can’t get his own shot and take over a game like Fox and others, you know unless he flops around and the refs take pity on him.

You trashed that other guy’s opinions and said he didn’t know ball, then put Trae first. Absolutely hilarious

He also just hasn’t really broken any run where a top speed can be achieved. So I’m not sure the top speed is the concern so much as a combination of less acceleration and bad blocking keeping him from even getting to a top speed.

For sure. It would be different if he was always grinding and working his ass off. But he doesn’t have the fire that other guys have. Plays and practices like it’s a job and he just needs to meet the minimum effort.

Couldn’t agree more. Time to move on. Defenses caught on to his runs and he’s not the same guy anyways. He can’t win as a wide receiver so the 49ers are basically left with a 20+ mil dude who gets open and catches worse than many guys barely on rosters.

I’m just bummed I’m going to Lambeau and it will be to watch them without Purdy. Sitting amongst GB fans in the cold watching Brandon Allen get pummeled will not due.

He’d be perfect for nearly every team though. He’s the exact player my Kings need, and they’d give up a ransom for him.

Yep. This is now a team that needs another great draft or they might be toast. Can’t count on the vets to be the Avengers anymore. Some may not be back and the ones who will return are aging.

I feel like it just depends on what you like and where in the States you’d go. I’ve been to Iceland twice and love it. If I took two weeks here in the States then I’d hit national parks and it would be great as well. For myself I’d choose western Canada though because I haven’t explored BC.

I feel like The Black Keys have had a lot of good albums/songs since the early 2000s.

I’m going to be there. I’d be ok with that scenario ha.

Was just there visiting a couple friends and taking the kids to DW. Was pleasantly surprised to not see Trump flags and decked out cars really at all. I was worried I’d be constantly irritated with it being in my face, but was actually very low key.

My eyes hurt. Having those guys out and Keegan and Heurter being allergic to scoring is just not a winnable situation, unless Fox scores 50+. And he won’t on tired legs vs Daniels.

Can Fox give us one more crazy game before reinforcements arrive? Here’s hoping they throw Trae at him instead of Daniels all game.

Have to get it right sometime. Pretty tough to rebound with an expensive roster if you keep missing on early round picks (or don’t have them to begin with). Here’s hoping they don’t screw it up in 2025.

Very true, but with this being a down season they’d be dumb to not plan ahead for Trent retiring. I still think BPA, but I’d be be pissed if they passed on a chance to improve the OL or DL. But you’re right, they don’t value OL in round one.
comment in response to

True, but we rarely get the chance to draft in the first 20 picks where the best linemen can be found. Would be nice to hit on one. OT for sure, but if they can find a stud DL there I’d be fine with that too.

Sad to be thinking about right now, but this next draft will be huge. Will probably dictate whether the good times come back anytime soon. Hopefully they can find a couple guys to improve the trenches and our good rookie class takes a step forward next year as well.
comment in response to

If they end up drafting in the 15-20 range then what do you think the biggest need is? OT? I feel like BPA between OT, Edge and DT is the way to go.

So painful. Losing and getting a good pick literally might be better now and that sucks ass.

He just feeds off negativity too much. That’s his base. Angry fans. He’s one side of the coin and Lombardi is the other, both annoying in their opposite ways.

I’m still riding the high from their collapse last season and will not be coming down anytime soon.
